Pre Drywall Walk Through

Today we had our pre drywall walk through and we were able to see the wires in the walls.  It was so interesting to see how everything comes together behind the walls.  We are set to have insulation installed by the end of the week.

There were a few things missing:  The 5 fan rough in's upstairs in the bedrooms, the rough in above the island, and a few other requirements for construction  Sean advised these would be taken care of by the end of the week.  We will come back out to verify everything is completed by Thursday.

While we were there we wrote things on the boards making up our walls.  It will be fun to keep those wishes and dreams behind our walls.  Who knows who may come across those many many years from now.

Since we took the entire day off of work we decided despite the crazy rain storms; we would go to lunch and then visit a winery nearby.  Got to love moving to the Wine Region of Virginia!
