It's Starting To Come Together - We Have Cabinets & Trim

We stopped by the house on the way out of town for Mandy & Jason's wedding to discover that our kitchen and bathroom cabinets are installed.  The only issue was the lazy susan was in one of the cabinets and I requested multiple times to not have one.  Our PM is going to order the interior that comes in the cabinets that are in the model home and have them custom fitted to our corner cabinet.  The lazy susan is so close out to the front that you lose so much storage space and I want that cabinet for all of my appliances.  I am not a lazy susan fan to say the least.

We also noticed that columns are installed on our front porch.  The land is being leveled and shaped preparing for sod to be placed down.  Our windows and floors have trim work installed and our plaster is being sanded down in preparation for the first coat of paint.

Ready For The Next Step...

Upon arrival we noticed that our sidewalk was poured and the remaining siding was added, along with our shutters.

Today the drywall has been taped and plastered into place.  Walking through the house at this stage was amazing.  It is starting to look like a real home now with walls and all.

To our surprise when we went into the garage we found our archway framing, hand rails, interior doors, cabinets and vanity tops were all awaiting installation.  It all feels so real seeing the pieces fall into place.
